Smith is reportedly in talks to take on the role of Genie for Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin, according to Deadline. The role of Genie was originally made famous by late comedian Robin Williams.

This live-action remake of Aladdin follows Disney’s current ongoing strategy of bringing their classic animated films to life. Disney’s most recent project Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson has already grossed more than $1 billion worldwide since its mid-March release date.
