Over the years cake has gotten the reputation of being bad for you, but one Japanese company is looking to change that.
Vegedeco Salad has changed the games when it comes to cake. Instead of making it with all the normal ingredients, they make it using vegetables, soy powder tofu and more. These cakes are brightly colored, low in carbs and even gluten free!
Rather than a “sponge” like base, Vegedeco Salad’s cakes are created with soy flour. Instead of the regular frosting, these cakes are coated in a tofu-based frosting.
The company says their concept is to be “fun to look at, fun to eat and full of joy.”
