The 59th annual Grammy Awards take place this Sunday (February 12) and all anybody can talk about is the impending showdown between Adele and Beyoncé, who are both up for the three biggest awards of the night: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Today’s 96.5’s Bex paid a visit to our sister television station CBS3 to weigh in on music’s pay-per-view worthy showdown.

When it comes to Album of the Year, Beyoncé will gain the upper hand according to Bex thanks to her game-changing visual album Lemonade.
However in music’s version of Mayweather-Pacquiao, Bex does not see Beyoncé coming out on top, as she feels Adele will counter Beyoncé’s Album of the Year Award with victories in both the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories.
Adele and Beyoncé may be the names everyone will talk about as the Grammys approach, but they are not the only ones who Bex believes will walk away with some hardware. She predicts 23-year-old Ariana Grande will have her moment in the spotlight when she takes home her first-ever Grammy Award.

When asked what is she looking forward to the most during music’s biggest night, or as she likes to call it “Christmas morning,” Bex said she can’t wait to see Queen Bey’s baby bump. Of course, earlier this month the “Formation” singer revealed that her and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins.
The 59th annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 12 at 8 p.m. only on CBS3.
